Library update

Other than my THANK YOU LINDSEY Post, I have sort of neglected the Library.

So far, on my 7 tasks for the space, I have accomplished only two.

1) Add Bookcase lighting

2) Build a Library Ladder

3) Get more storage for unsightly clutter to be placed at the bottom shelves

4) Upgrade ( meaning spruce it up) the old office bookcase

5) Find the right rug

6) Find the right table/floor lamp for the desk area

7) Fix the gaps in between the bookshelves lattices

Choosing the right rug was a huge conundrum to me. Finally, I had to make a choice since winter was upon us and I wanted to get rid of the old utility rug that was honestly, getting filthy with small bits of rubbish. So I finally chose this...

Chevron Stripes Indoor/outdoor rug from Ballard Designs

This rug was actually not among the initial choices I made. But I am fairly happy with it. One because I always wanted to incorporate chevron in my decor( and never had until now), two, I wanted the resilience of an outdoor rug in this much used space and lastly, the price was at its lowest when I got it. So it was a win-win for me.

 So now, my list is less by one.
